A rendering of the Samsung Galaxy A12 5G case has surfaced on the Internet, indicating the existence of a new model. The rendering effect hints at the water drop-style display notch and the quad rear camera setup on the new Samsung phone. The Samsung Galaxy A12 5G seems to have some design similarities with the Galaxy A42 5G that debuted in September. So far, the rumor factory has recommended the development of a 4G variant of the Galaxy A12. This model is said to have a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and up to 64GB of onboard storage.
SlashLeaks, an aggregation site focused on technology leaks, listed some renderings showing the so-called Samsung Galaxy A12 5G case. The rendering shows that the phone will be equipped with a drop-shaped display notch and include a square camera module, which appears to have four different camera sensors. The camera module also seems to be placed side by side with the LED flash.
The rendering also implies that the Samsung Galaxy A12 5G will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and include a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom and a speaker grille.
Samsung seems to have taken some beauty from the design of the Galaxy A42 5G. The unannounced A12 5G also seems to be similar in design to the rumored Galaxy M12, which recently appeared online through some leaked renderings.
That said, in terms of design, it is not clear whether there will be any changes to the 4G variant of the Galaxy A12. It is speculated that the 4G model is SM-A125F, which recently surfaced on Samsung’s Russian website.
Last week, the Samsung Galaxy A12 with 4G support was also found on the benchmark site Geekbench. The list recommends Android 10 and 3GB RAM on rumored phones. It is said that the Galaxy A12 also has 32GB and 64GB onboard storage options, and is equipped with the same LCD panel as the Galaxy A11. There are also rumors that the phone has the same triple rear camera settings as the Galaxy A11.
