Warner Bros. India announced that Tenet will be released in India on December 4, including a short film by actor Dimple Kapadia. Christopher Nolan’s epic spy movie is expected to be released in India in November. This is after the reopening of theaters across the country due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but the filming time will be slightly shorter. There is a delay. But hey, we finally have an Indian release date for Tenet. December 4th is about 13 weeks after Tenet was first released internationally in late August.
“The wait is finally over,” Kapadia said in the Tenet India release date announcement video. “I am very happy to announce that Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” will be screened in all cinemas in India on December 4. It is an honor for me to be able to participate in this project. There is something spectacular about this film. You can only enjoy the sequence of actions, turns and twists of the movie on the big screen. So, see you in the cinema on December 4.”
In addition to Cappadia, Tenet actors also include John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Clemens Posey, Martin Donovan, Fiona Du Reeve, Yuri Kolokonnikov, Himish Patel, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Denzier Smith, Kenneth Branagh and Michael Cain. Nolan wrote and directed Tenet. Nolan works as a producer on Tenet with his wife Emma Thomas. Tenet has filmed in seven countries on three continents (including India, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States).
This is the official feed of Tenet from Warner Bros. Pictures:
John David Washington is the new protagonist of Christopher Nolan’s original sci-fi action glasses “Tenet”. The protagonist is armed with only one word-Tenet, and fights for the survival of the entire world. He has walked through the twilight world of international espionage, and the mission will be carried out in a way that goes beyond real-time. There is no time to travel. Reverse.
Tenet will be screened in major theaters in India on December 4, less than two weeks away from screenings on Blu-ray and digital platforms worldwide.
