Tata's son announced that he would provide Rs 10 crore to the Coronavirus . This is a supplement of Rs 5 crore announced by Tata Trusts.

Chairman Tata Sons N Chandrasekaran said in a statement: " to the impact of COVID 19, the current situation in and the rest of the world is worrying and requires us to take the most Action. "

The statement added: "We will work with Tata Trusts, and our Honorary Chairman, Mr. Tata will fully support their initiative and will work in a collaborative manner to take full advantage of the Group's full expertise . "
