Super Mario 3D World is about to land on Nintendo Switch. At the Nintendo Direct show with a special theme of Mario, the Japanese gaming giant announced that the 2013 Wii U title will be ported to Switch, becoming Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. It will continue the gameplay of levels and cooperative games and initially sell 500 Ten thousand copies, and more content to be announced will be added. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will be available on February 12, 2021. Up to 4 players can participate locally or online.
In addition, Nintendo also revealed its battle royale against Super Mario-Super Mario Bros. 35. This will have 35 players fighting against it, this is Mario’s last stop. The announcement trailer says “The enemies you defeat will be sent to other players’ courses.” Of course, this also applies to you. But here are a few caveats: “Super Mario Bros. 35” is not only an exclusive game for Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions, but it can only be played before March 31, 2021. “Super Mario Bros. 35” will be available on Nintendo Switch on October 1.
If you want to know what the situation is with 35 players, it is because it is the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. Nintendo also announced the Super Mario 3D All-Star Game series, which includes three games: Super Mario 64, Super Mario Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. In addition, it also showcased Mario Kart Live: the real version of Mario Kart in the Home Tour, and Game & Watch: a new limited edition product in Super Mario Bros inspired by the retro Game & Watch system.
Doug Bowser, President of Nintendo of the United States, said in a prepared statement: “We look forward to everyone joining us and participating in our 35-year journey in Mario.” Such games and experiences mark this important milestone, and all generations of Mario fans from here to the Mushroom Kingdom can enjoy them together.”
Super Mario Bros. 35 will be launched on October 1 (and will continue until March 31, 2021), followed by February 12, 2021, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.
Nintendo Switch and Switch games have not yet been officially released in India.
