Ubisoft has revealed the post-launch content roadmap and season pass details for action-adventure game Star Wars: Desperados, which will be released later this month. The open-world game will have two story-focused expansions, with the first launching later this year and the second in 2025. All Season Pass holders will also receive character packs and exclusive missions at launch involving iconic Star Wars character Jabba the Hutt.
Star Wars Desperados post-launch roadmap
The developer detailed the game’s roadmap for post-launch content in a blog post on Monday, confirming the planned expansion’s release window. First up, Season Pass holders will receive the Kessel Runner Character Pack at launch, which includes costumes for the villainous Kevis and her companion Nyx. Additionally, the Season Pass will allow access to an exclusive mission called “Jabba’s Gambit,” in which Kai will receive a mission from Jabba the Hutt. This mission will also be available when the game launches on August 30th.
Then, in the fall of 2024, Star Wars Outlaws players will be able to continue the story of Kai Weiss with the first story expansion, Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Cards. The first story pack will see Kai infiltrate a high-stakes Sabak tournament, where she’ll stumble upon Star Wars icon Lando Calrissian.
In addition to the first story pack, Season Pass holders can also get the Hunter Legacy Bundle and the Cartel Ronin Bundle, which includes new outfits for Kai and Nyx, as well as cosmetics for Kai’s speeder and her ship.
Finally, Ubisoft will release a second story expansion in spring 2025, “Star Wars Outlaws: Pirate’s Fortune,” in which Kai will meet veteran pirate Hondo Onaka. Both story packs are available to Season Pass holders or can be purchased separately.
Star Wars Outlaws will release on PC (via Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store), PS5, and Xbox Series S/X on August 30. The game is currently available for pre-order on all gaming platforms. Players who pre-order the game will receive the Kessel Runner bonus pack, which contains cosmetic items for Kei’s craft and her ship, the Trailblazer.
