Skull and Bones release date here. On Thursday, Ubisoft announced that its upcoming action-adventure game Skull and Bones will launch on Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, PlayStation 5, Windows PC on November 8 as part of Ubisoft’s Forward event – available via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Purchase Store — and Xbox Series S/X. The game developer also shared an official Skull and Bones gameplay trailer, giving fans an idea of what to expect from its latest offering. The trailer opens with a voiceover from a female character, introducing us to the game’s world, noting that the adventure takes place during the “golden age of piracy.”
We are then told what our character will be preparing for as he prepares to embark on a journey where “preparation is the key to success”. Not surprisingly, the voiceover is accompanied by some strong visuals, not for the faint of heart. Judging by the trailer, Skull and Bones has the potential to be a treat for those who love the adventure genre.
Skull and Bones puts you in the role of a rookie pirate who is trying to go from outcast to protagonist through his naval conquests. During this journey, he tries to deal with traitors and menacing enemies. Players can play with up to two friends, and can also choose the PVP format. The Premium Edition of Skull and Bones will offer “The Ballad of Bloody Bones Collection”, which includes a range of cosmetic items for captains and ships. This also allows one to access two additional quests and a digital art book.
Originally announced at E3 2017, Skull and Bones would release in 2019, but that didn’t happen as it was pushed back to 2020. The game was further delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
An allegedly leaked Xbox Store listing earlier correctly showed a November 8 release date for Skull and Bones. Following this, Ubisoft announced that it will release a trailer for the game at the Ubisoft Forward event on Thursday.
Skull and Bones is finally set to release on Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series S/X on November 8th.
