According to new leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (aka Galaxy S20 Lite) may be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery. For some time, there have been rumors and leaks about Samsung working on the streamlined Galaxy S20, just like it did on the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. Previous leaks hinted at certain specifications, and this new leak indicates battery capacity and possible color choices for the phone. Samsung Galaxy S20 fan version is expected to be launched in Europe in these colors.
The latest leak comes from the Dutch blog site Galaxyclub.nl and claims that the battery model in the Samsung Galaxy S20 fan version is EB-BG781ABY. It is stated that the rated capacity of the battery is 4,370mAh. This is the same as the rated capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S20+, which indicates that the typical battery capacity of the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is 4,500mAh, which is the same as the Galaxy S20+. It is worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite launched in January this year is also equipped with a 4,500mAh battery.
Speaking of these colors, the publication said that the rumored phone will be sold in two colors of green, orange, red and white in the European market. It is not clear whether these color options will also be available in other markets, or whether other colors will be available in other regions.
Last week, some specifications of the rumored Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition aka Galaxy S20 Lite were leaked due to known hints. It is said that this phone will be equipped with a 120Hz display and an IP68 certified case. It may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and has 6GB RAM. The reminder also claimed that the pricing of this phone will be “good.”
As of now, Samsung has not shared any information about this Galaxy S20, and it is unlikely that the same news will be released at the Unpacked event on August 5. However, Samsung recently announced that it will host an “Unstoppable Life” event on September 2nd, in which Samsung may share more information about the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition.
