According to a report, Samsung Galaxy A50s users have begun to receive One UI 2.5 update. The update comes with the Android security patch for November 2020 and the latest One UI 2.5 features. The update is currently only available in Vietnam, but is expected to be extended to other countries soon. One UI 2.5 update includes some features, such as SOS for messages, Google navigation gestures for third-party applications, Bitmoji that is always displayed, improved camera experience, and more.
According to a report by SamMobile, the One UI 2.5 update of the Samsung Galaxy A50 in Vietnam comes with firmware version A507FNXXU5CTK3. Once the firmware appears on the phone, you can download the firmware by clicking the update notification.If you have not received the notification, you can go to Settings>Software Update>Download and install. As mentioned earlier, so far, One UI 2.5 update is currently only available in Vietnam.
Samsung Galaxy A51 got the One UI 2.5 update a month ago. However, this update includes the October 2020 Android security patch, while the Galaxy A50s update comes with the latest November 2020 Android security patch. The One UI 2.5 update of the Galaxy A50s is based on Android 10.
For the past few months, the South Korean tech giant has been testing One UI 3.0 based on Android 11. A recent report suggested that Samsung may launch One UI 3.0 this month or next. However, until then, One UI 2.5 was still the latest publicly available One UI.
