Madhya Pradesh was touted as the underdogs to reach the Ranji Trophy final against 41-time champions Mumbai, but the team led by Aditya Shrivastava really proved they belonged at that level and they managed to put pressure on Captain Prithvi Shaw’s side. In the first innings, Mumbai got out of hand in the game but Madhya Pradesh bowlers managed to take wickets regularly and in the end, Mumbai were knocked out with 374 runs and Sarfaraz Khan topped the game with 134 runs.
So far, Madhya Pradesh has been excellent in response at the bat, with neither Yash Dubey nor Shubham Sharma giving up an inch. Dubey hit triple figures on Day 3 of the ongoing finals and as soon as he reached the landmark, he celebrated like KL Rahul.
Dolby put his hands in his ears in a celebration of “blocking out outside noise.” The official BCCI domestic handle tweeted the same video.
