Rajasthan Royals’ first pre-season camp starts March 15 in Jaipur

Rajasthan Royals will hold its first pre-season training camp for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 in Jaipur from March 15. With the ongoing T20 World Cup coming to an end on March 8, the team is expected to gradually assemble. All players will start arriving from mid-second week of March and the Jaipur training camp will begin as planned.

“Players will start arriving in the second week and the training camp will begin on March 15 in Jaipur,” a source confirmed.

Earlier, a small group of players, including Sandeep Sharma, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ravi Bishnoi, gathered at the High Performance Center in Nagpur in February for a few warm-up sessions as an initial phase of shaking off the rust before gathering in Jaipur.

Meanwhile, the authorities are working tirelessly to upgrade the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in time for the Royals’ home games.

“Work in key areas is progressing at a fast pace. The stadium will be fully ready before the Royals arrive for IPL 2026,” said an official closely following the progress of the venue.
