I wish I had more use for portable storage, because, great, it's already happening and so Fast and and so cheap. Wisdom: For a limited time, although continues, Amazon owns Samsung T5 1 TB Portable Solid State Drive for $ 157.99 -Not the lowest price ever, but it's $ 20 less than the last time I wrote it, and it's a good buy period.

Is this better than a flash drive? It is a solid- drive that provides faster performance and is considered more reliable.

Granted, the T5 cannot be plugged directly into a PC like a flash drive (requires a cable), but it still has great portability: 0.4 inches thick, 2.9 inches long, and only 1.6 ounces.

The drive has a second-generation USB 3.1 (Type C) interface, but also includes Type C to Type A cables for legacy USB ports. At the time, user reviews are glowing everywhere.

The icing on the cake Samsung Three-year warranty. If you can use extremely high-capacity terabytes of fast portable storage devices that take up almost no space, then there's nothing more you can do. (I do n’t need that much? Samsung T5 500GB Hard Drive Also Available: $ 89.99)
