Samsung has confirmed that several of its high-end phones will support popular mobile game PUBG at higher frame rates than before. The battle royale game published by Krafton is available for smartphone users on Android and iOS devices. Until recently, the game supported frame rates up to 90fps (frames per second). With the latest update, the game can be accessed at higher frame rates. Samsung has announced the list of smartphones that support higher frame rate gaming.
In a community post, an official Samsung moderator responsible for game optimization confirmed that many of its phones will support PUBG at 120fps. The list includes the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series phones, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 book-style foldable smartphone.
It is worth noting that with the latest v3.2 update, PUBG Mobile bring Multiple updates such as new items, new levels, new mechanics and new modes, including support for 120fps frame rate. Higher frame rates ensure a smoother gaming experience, while lower frame rates show jagged interruptions in in-game action and action.
The Samsung Community post explains that these optimizations will be included in the latest Game Optimization Service (GOS) and Game Booster apps that come pre-installed on most Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
However, the post did not clarify whether the support will be extended to other Samsung models later. Currently, the following models support optimization – Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
