Poco C31 is preparing to be released on Thursday, September 30th. Just before the release, the company has announced the main specifications of the smartphone. The RAM size and processor on Poco C31 have been confirmed on the login page of the company’s India website. Poco C31 is available for purchase through Flipkart and is expected to go on sale during the 2021 Big Billion Days promotion beginning on October 3rd. The new Poco smartphone is likely to be an updated model of the Poco C3 smartphone launched in India last year.
The company’s website showed the main specifications of the Poco C31 before it was released. It confirms that Poco C31 will be powered by MediaTek Helio G35 processor under the hood. Also confirmed to be equipped with 4GB RAM. The predecessor Poco C3 was also launched in October last year, equipped with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, with up to 4GB of RAM. Poco C31 will be equipped with a fingerprint sensor and face unlock function.
Poco claimed on the C31 login page that compared to market standards, the lifespan of new smartphones will be extended by 25%. The company added that even after 2.5 years of daily use, Poco C31 will still be “like new.”
Poco C31 will use a water drop notch on the display, with slim side bezels and thicker bottom bezels. The new phone will use blue as one of the color options. Other specifications regarding the camera, pricing, and display have not been shared.
The new Poco C31 is expected to be an updated version of Poco C3. Poco C3 is equipped with a 6.53-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixel) LCD with a waterdrop notch. It comes with a triple rear camera setup, including a 13-megapixel main snapper, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 5 megapixel camera. Poco C3 provides 64GB of onboard storage space, which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB). It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 10W fast charging.
Poco C31 will be launched in India at 12 noon (noon) on September 30.
