The PlayStation 5 DualSense controller will get three new colorways, which will go on sale in January 2022. Earlier this year, Sony announced new color options for the Galaxy-inspired DualSense controller. While the new color options for the DualSense controller will be available globally, the company also announced a new PS5 case for the PlayStation 5 console that will be available in select regions in the first half of 2022.

The company announced the PS5 DualSense controller in Galaxy Purple, Nova Pink, and Starlight Blue colorways on the PlayStation Blog. These will join the Cosmic Red and Midnight Black colors launching in May. According to Sony, these galaxy-inspired PlayStation 5 controller colors are available globally and will start shipping in January 2022.

Sony also announced five new PS5 console cases for the company’s latest console. PlayStation 5 users who have successfully used the device will be able to choose the cover in Cosmic Red, Galactic Purple, Midnight Black, Nova Pink and Starlight Blue to match the DualSense controller.

The company has yet to announce the of the new DualSense controller, but the original black and white controller is currently available for Rs. It’s priced at $5,990 on, while the Cosmic Red color option is priced at $6,390 on the site. The company added that both the PS5 console and the DualSense controller will be available in early access via PlayStation Direct in France, Germany, the UK and the US.

According to Sony, the new PS5 case will work both the original PS5 console and the PS5 digital edition. Users can also install them after removing the original cover and clicking on the new cover. Unlike the new DualSense controller, however, these Galaxy-inspired PS5 cases will initially be available in select regions.

Cosmic Red and Midnight Black PS5 console cases will be available from January 2022 in Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, Spain , Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, UK and Vietnam.

Sony says the Galaxy Purple, Nova Pink and Starlight Blue PS5 console cases will be available in the first half of 2022 and will be available in the aforementioned regions. PS5 owners in other regions, including India, may have to wait, though. “We plan to launch PS5 console covers in other regions during the year, and we’ll announce these details as they become available,” the company said on its blog.
