Oppo has finally launched its new K-series smartphones with the launch of Oppo K13 Turbo and Oppo K13 Turbo Pro. Both phones from the brand feature a new design aesthetic and a new cooling system called Oppo Storm Engine. Furthermore, the specifications of both the devices are almost similar. With these devices, Oppo plans to enter the mobile gaming space, which is currently picking up pace in India. That said, does it make sense to buy these two Oppo phones? I had some time with the device, so here’s what you need to know.
Oppo K13 Turbo price in India starts at Rs. The base version is priced at $27,999 and comes in 8GB + 128GB options. The 8GB RAM + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 29,999. Oppo K13 Turbo Pro India price starts at Rs. The 8GB RAM + 256GB model is priced at Rs 37,999 and the 12GB 256GB option is priced at $39,999. Both devices will be available for purchase on Flipkart, the company’s official website and select retail stores starting August 15, 2025.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro and Oppo K13 Turbo are available in Launch Purple, Knight White and Midnight Maverick color options.
Now that you have an idea of how much each device will cost, let’s talk design. The Oppo K13 Turbo and Oppo K13 Turbo Pro are almost identical twins, but only a closer look reveals some subtle differences. Both devices are available in three color options: First Purple, Knight White, and Midnight Maverick. I got the first purple option for both devices and they both look the same.
If you put the two units next to each other, at first glance you won’t be able to tell which is the Standard and which is the Pro. Eventually, you’ll start to notice some subtle differences around the camera module. The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro has a ring light around the cooling fan (more on that later), while the standard version comes with green accents. The second difference can be found between the flash and the camera module. But other than that, there’s nothing to distinguish.
The Oppo K13 Turbo series comes with one of the thinnest built-in blade fans that spins at 18,000 RPM.
That said, the main highlight of both devices is the brand’s new Storm engine. It consists of the thinnest built-in fan blades, strategically placed just below the camera module. There’s a vent on the right side that expels air at up to 18,000 RPM. There’s also an L-shaped duct with ultra-low airflow resistance for better thermal management and thermal performance. We haven’t fully tested these devices to see if the cooling fans make a difference. So stay tuned for an in-depth review.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro and K13 Turbo feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 2800 pixels. The display also features a 120Hz screen refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1,600nits. The display looks good, but for some reason I find the display on the K13 Turbo Pro model to be better.
The Oppo K13 Turbo series comes with a 6.8-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 2800 pixels.
The main difference is in the performance part. Oppo K13 Turbo is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, which was first launched in the Reno 14 series. Interestingly, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro is the brand’s first smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. Furthermore, with the K13 Turbo, you get only 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, while with the Turbo Pro variant, you get up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
Next, the Oppo K13 Turbo series comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear panel. You get a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the phone comes with a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture. Finally, the machine is equipped with a 7000mAh battery and supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.

That said, the Oppo K13 Turbo and Oppo K13 Turbo Pro do seem to be interesting smartphones that fit into two different price segments. The brand’s gaming-centric approach makes it interesting as we already have players like Infinix and Poco leading the way in this space. That said, it will be interesting to see if Oppo can grab the attention of the Indian gaming community with the Turbo series.
