OnePlus Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 were announced as the first models of the company’s OnePlus Nord N series. Both new smartphones come with a punch-hole display design, which looks very similar to the OnePlus 8T that was only launched a few weeks ago. The OnePlus Nord N10 5G of this series also has 5G support and a 90Hz display. On the other hand, OnePlus Nord N100 has 4G LTE and a standard LCD panel. Both OnePlus Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 are equipped with eight-core processors and provide stereo speakers.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G, OnePlus Nord N100 price
The price of a single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version of OnePlus Nord N10 5G has been set at 329 pounds (about 32,000 rupees). In comparison, the single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model of the OnePlus Nord N100 is priced at £179 (approximately Rs 17,300). Both new phones will initially enter the European market, but OnePlus will reveal their availability in North America later. In addition, OnePlus Nord N10 5G has a midnight icy color, while OnePlus Nord N100 has a midnight frosty shade.
There are no official details to confirm the release plans of OnePlus Nord N10 5G and OnePlus Nord N100 in India. Nevertheless, OnePlus’ historical record and interest in mid-range smartphones indicate that these two new phones may also enter the Indian market.
In July, the original OnePlus Nord was launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 24,999.
“The OnePlus Nord N series represents the next step in our strategy to expand smartphone products to more price points. Now, more users can get a relaxing experience without sacrificing quality,” OnePlus founder and CEO Official Pete Lau said in a statement.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G specifications
OnePlus Nord N10 5G can run on Android-based OxygenOS 10.5, and has a 6.49-inch full HD+ display and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone also uses eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G SoC and 6GB RAM. There is a triple rear camera setup with a 64-pixel main sensor and 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. Camera settings also include dedicated macro and monochrome cameras. For selfies and video chats, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front.
OnePlus provides 128GB of onboard storage space on the Nord N10 5G, which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB). Connection options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS and USB Type-C port. There is also a rear fingerprint sensor.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G is equipped with a 4,300mAh battery and supports the company’s Warp Charge 30T fast charging technology. In addition, the phone also has dual stereo speakers.
OnePlus Nord N100 specifications
OnePlus Nord N100 runs on OxygenOS 10.5 and has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. This phone is equipped with an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC under the hood and is equipped with 4GB RAM. The smartphone is also equipped with a triple rear camera that can accommodate a 13-megapixel main sensor, a bokeh lens and a macro camera. For selfies and video chats, there is an 8-megapixel camera sensor on the front.
OnePlus provides 64GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. Connection options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS and USB Type-C port. Finally, OnePlus Nord N100 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
