OnePlus has updated the Zen Mode app with a focus on meditation for its smartphones running on Android 10. The app provides a series of functions that were previously implemented through OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11. OnePlus 8 Pro passes the latest developer preview of OxygenOS 11. Nonetheless, OnePlus now brings the updated Zen Mode app, which has a similar experience on all smartphones that have not yet received Android 11-based updates.
According to the change log originally published by XDA Developers, the updated Zen Mode application enables the option of creating virtual rooms and inviting friends to join and jointly launch a focused challenge. The update also brings various themes to enhance your immersive meditation experience.
The updated Zen Mode app also has a function that allows you to record your daily Zen moments and view your focused and focused progress.
Last month, OnePlus gave a brief introduction to all these features when it released HydrogenOS 11 (it is the Chinese version of OxygenOS 11). Users who recently tested OxygenOS 11 also received an updated Zen Mode experience. However, you can now experience them by simply updating the Zen Mode app on OnePlus smartphones running Android 10.
The updated Zen Mode application can be downloaded through Google Play. Alternatively, you can download its APK file from APK Mirror and load it side-loaded onto the phone.
Zen Mode was originally introduced in OnePlus 7 Pro with the purpose of bringing the company’s proprietary digital detox and meditation solution, which is an alternative to Google’s digital health plan. It reached other OnePlus phones through a later version of the software update.
OnePlus has not provided any exact details about the deployment of Android 11 on its smartphones. However, it recently announced the OxygenOS 11 beta version for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, which brings the latest Android and a series of new features and enhancements.
