An Ohio woman who fired multiple shots into a home during a New Year’s Eve party, seriously injuring a partygoer, has been found guilty of attempted murder.
The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office announced in a press release on Tuesday, February 3, that a jury also convicted Olivia Clendenin, 29, of two felonies and one count of unlawful discharge in or into a dwelling.
The shooting occurred Jan. 1, 2025, at a home in the 5500 block of Dearth Road in Clearcreek Township, the news release said.
Prosecutors said Clendenin became aware of her husband and boyfriend shortly after they discovered “their relationship with Clendenin,” according to the release.
Prosecutors said Clendenin allegedly tried to convince her husband to leave the party, but failed and returned with a .40-caliber handgun.
She allegedly fired eight shots, striking a 29-year-old man in the abdomen while he was sitting on his porch, according to the news release.
Clendenin’s husband allegedly notified police that she may have been involved in the shooting, WKRC reported.

“The victim was simply invited to a New Year’s Eve party and found himself in a hail of bullets from Clendenin,” Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said in a statement.
He said: “Clendenin may start 2025 a free man but will be imprisoned for the remainder of 2026 and for at least a decade thereafter for attempting to murder at least one of her lovers – despite assaulting and nearly killing an innocent victim.”
According to the court, she has not yet been sentenced daily news.
