The New York Giants’ pursuit of Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is intensifying, but due to logistical hurdles, the interview may need to take place in Baltimore rather than New York.
NFL insider Gary Myers reported that Harbaugh is expected to prefer teams that come to him on a busy interview schedule, which could begin as early as Sunday or Monday next week.
Myers suggested the Giants take the first spot and warned that if Harbaugh was strongly linked to the team, he could commit immediately and cancel the remaining meetings.

The Giants are said to be “all in” on Harbaugh, believing he would be the ideal guy to stabilize a struggling franchise. General manager Joe Schoen has reportedly had direct, positive conversations with Harbaugh, actively recruiting him and expressing a willingness to collaborate on roster decisions.
While some reports have suggested Harbaugh is seeking significant personnel authority — including input beyond his current role with the Ravens — insider Ian O’Connor clarified that he’s unlikely to ask for complete control or Schon’s resignation, instead favoring a collaborative approach.
With multiple teams interested, the Giants are keeping a close eye on Harbaugh’s performance. Meetings are expected next week, either in New York, New Jersey or Baltimore.
