New York Giants eyeing Super Bowl MVP in free agency

A new NFL league year is upon us. This means that the expiring contract will make the player a free agent.

The New York Giants have limited cap space in 2026, but could easily make some moves to free up more cash. There is someone in their hearts.

The Giants are reportedly very interested in Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker will become a free agent after winning a Super Bowl with Seattle last season.

The Giants drafted Cam Scatebo last year and he got off to a promising start. A serious injury ended his season.

The addition of Walker would not only create more time for Scatterbo to recover, but also create a formidable backcourt duo. Head coach John Harbaugh likes a strong running game with multiple backs involved.

It remains to be seen how the Giants fare. The Seahawks are actively trying to retain Walker on a long-term deal.

However, the closer we get to the new league year, the less likely that scenario looks. The Giants have their sights set on a Super Bowl champion and MVP.
