A new Life is Strange game may be in development, based on a leaked PEGI rating for an unannounced game. A European video game content rating website reportedly listed Life is Strange: Reunion for PS5 before the page was removed. According to the listing information, the game will be published by Square Enix and will star Max Caulfield’s best friend Chloe Price, the protagonist of the first Life is Strange game and last year’s Life is Strange: Double Exposure.

The now-deleted PEGI listing (via VGC ) also provides a brief synopsis of Life is Strange: Reunion . The narrative game will focus on Chloe, who comes to Caledon University to seek help from Max, who must deal with the upcoming threat of “Mortal Hell” that could destroy the campus.
Judging from the description and game title, Life is Strange: Reunion appears to reunite best friends Max and Chloe from the first Life is Strange. The game has a PEGI rating of 16, citing strong language, drug use, and strong violence.
The PS5 version listing for the game confirms Square Enix as the publisher, but does not specify the developer. The webpage also lists March 27, 2025 as the game’s release date, which appears to be an error.
Square Enix has yet to confirm a new Life is Strange game.
The latest release in the series is Life is Strange: Double Exposure, launching in October 2024. After Life is Strange 2 and Life is Strange: True Colors, Max Caulfield returns as the protagonist and introduces a new character.
Double Exposure was developed by Deck Nine, and Life is Strange 1 and 2 were developed by Don’t Nod, which released an independent narrative adventure game Lost Records: Bloom & Rage last year.
