The Boston Celtics center from Portugal dominated the game, scoring 27 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in what Jaylen Brown called the best game of Queta’s career.

Queta also added three blocks and did not turn the ball over in 27 minutes. He made 10 of 14 shots from the field.

Brown (27 points) and Derrick White (21 points) were Boston’s other scorers, while Nikola Jokic had 12 rebounds off the bench in 21 minutes.

Brown also added eight rebounds and eight assists, continuing his excellent all-around season.

The Celtics currently have a record of 40 wins and 20 losses this season. They have won five of their last six games and 10 of their last 12 games.

But the star of the night was Queta, who grabbed 17 rebounds, including an impressive 10 offensive rebounds. Queta may look like he has his hands full with big, physical centers like Andre Drummond and Adem Bonnar on the 76ers, but Nemeans has outplayed both of those and looks to be the best big man on the floor by far.

Queta’s transformation from a fourth-line center last season to a starting center and one of the NBA’s most reliable big men has been astounding.
