With this victory, Inoue defended his super lightweight title for the seventh consecutive time and now has a championship record of 27 wins and 0 losses.
The Japanese superstar’s next fight will likely be against compatriot Junto Nakatani (32-0), who defeated Sebastian Hernandez in the co-main event. However, Inoue also stated that he would be willing to fight super flyweight champion Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez (23-0) if Rodriguez were interested in moving up to his division.
