BOLIVAR, Mo. – A repair shop in Bolivar, Mo., was completely engulfed in flames early Sunday, March 8.
The Central Polk County Fire District told Ozarks First that crews responded to the Bear and Son Auto Repair Center at 5550 S. Scenic Ave. in Bolivar around 3:45 a.m. Sunday.
The district said the owner of the store, who lives on the property, heard some noise outside and came out of the residence to find the store on fire.

“We are sorry to the business owners for their loss,” the district said. “We want to help and support our community and do whatever we can to help him.”
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Central Polk County said the Bolivar City Fire Department, Morrisville Fire Protection District, Pleasant Hope Fire District, Dunnigan Rural Fire Department, Prairie Grove Rural Fire Department, Ebenezer Fire Protection District, Polk County Central Dispatch District, Polk County Emergency Management, Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Department of Fire Safety assisted in the incident.
This incident remains under investigation.
