Michael Page reacts to Dana White’s walkout at UFC London ‘bad fight’

Michael Page acted nonchalant when asked about Dana White’s departure at UFC Fight Night 270.

Page (25-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) earned boos from the crowd on Saturday with a unanimous decision victory over Sam Patterson (14-3-1 MMA, 4-2 UFC) at London’s O2 Arena. “MVP” has been very vocal about his displeasure with the UFC’s decision to fight Patterson, a relatively unknown rising welterweight.

Now, Page has the UFC CEO out of his seat during the fight.

“No, not really,” Page said at the UFC London post-fight press conference. “Again, when you’re a guy in these positions, you need to remember that everything you do has a big impact, what you do and what you say has a bigger impact. So, you just have to be aware of those things, but as we all know, he’s his own man. He does what he does, but for me, it’s just to go out and perform as well as I can and put him in his seat next time.”

White criticized Page’s performance during the UFC Fight Night 270 post-fight press conference.

“I don’t think it’s a great fight either,” White said. “It was a bad fight. I don’t know. He won, so we’ll see what happens next.”
