Liverpool: Salah equals Gerrard, Sloter praises him
Mohamed Salah once again played a decisive role for Liverpool. In the 1-0 win over Sunderland, the Egypt forward provided Virgil van Dijk’s winning assist from a corner kick in the 61st minute.

With this latest contribution, Salah has provided 92 Premier League assists for the Reds, equaling Steven Gerrard’s tally and a symbolic milestone for the club. After the game, coach Arne Slaughter praised the players’ performance:

The victory brings Liverpool, currently sixth, closer to the top four. However, bad news came as Wataru Endo was taken off on a stretcher and according to his coach, he will be out for a long time. As for Salah, he continues to prove that he remains a key player for the Reds.
