Asustek introduced Chromebox 4, a new mini PC based on the 10th Intel processor. Chromebox 4 looks very similar to its predecessor, Chromebox 3, which was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2018. However, inside the new model is a brand new machine-10th generation Intel Core and Celeron processor options and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Chromebox 4 also comes with Google support to allow access to applications. However, this is very common in other OS devices that natively support Android applications.

The Asus Chromebox 4 starts at US$289 (approximately Rs 21,400) in the US. The device will be sold in the country in December, but there is no news about its availability in the global market.

ASUS Chromebox 4 comes with a of processor options, from Intel Celeron-5205U to Core i7-10510U. There are also 4GB and 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM versions for your choice. You can choose 32GB or 64GB eMMC storage, or choose its 128GB or 256GB M.2 SATA SSD. The previous generation Chromebox had an 8th generation Intel Core processor, as well as 2GB, 4GB and 8GB RAM options and up to 256GB M.2 SATA SSD.

In terms of connection, the new Chromebox comes with Wi-Fi 6 and dual-band Bluetooth 5.0 support. There are also two USB 3.1 2 ports, an audio jack on the side, up to three USB 3.1 Gen 2 on the back, one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, two HDMI 1, and one LAN (RJ45) port. The machine also includes a DC-in port for power supply, and Kensington Lock is used to provide physical security.

Chromebox 4 can support up to three 4K displays. The existence of the USB Type-C port also brings USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort connectivity support. In addition, there is a VESA bracket with a screw-in rubber barrier that allows you to connect the Chromebox 4 to the to create a customized all-in-one PC experience.

The ASUS Chromebox 4 measures 148.5×148.5x40mm. This is exactly the same as Chromebox 3. The weight of the previous and new Chromebox models is the same, both of which are one kilogram.
