The Instagram badge is now officially launched. This feature allows creators to make money from their followers. Badges allow users to express support for creators in live videos on the platform. Starting Wednesday, users aged 18 and over who have more than 10,000 followers in certain regions will be able to use the Instagram badge. After purchase, the badge will be displayed with comments during the live broadcast. The latest feature will allow creators to interact with supporters. The host of the live video can see the list of supporters and badges purchased during the live broadcast for up to 90 days.

Instagram announced the launch of the badge on November 16. When the followers of the content creator purchase the badge, a heart shape will be displayed next to the user name of the supporter. In the United States, multiple Instagram badges can be purchased for US$0.99 (approximately Rs. 73), US$1.99 (approximately Rs. 147), and US$4.99 (approximately Rs. 370) during the live video. It will appear as one, two, or three hearts next to the commenter’s name. According to the badge, supporters will see more visibility in the live video. Instagram launched the badge as early as 2020, but it is only open to selected creators.

After purchasing the badge, the name of the supporter will appear in the list visible to the creator of the live video for up to 90 days. In addition, if a follower asks a question during the live broadcast, the question will be highlighted to the creator. In addition, comments made during the live chat may be pinned by the creator.
