KGF: The platform announced that, as part of its Early Access program, Chapter 2 is available on Amazon Prime Video in five languages (Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Marathi) Aramaic) is rented in Standard Definition (SD) quality. KGF: Chapter 2 started video-on-demand (VoD) nearly a month after the film was a hit at the box office on April 14, earning close to Rs. Hindi alone made 530 crore (net), a “historical record” for this market. The film was unstoppable in the days that followed, with trade trackers calling it a “mass audienceR17;s choice”
KGF: Chapter 2 is the sequel to KGF: Chapter 1 released in 2018 and has grossed nearly Rs 120 crore worldwide to date, making it the fourth highest grossing film of all time in India after RRR led by Jr NTR and Ram Charan, Prabhas-fronted Baahubali 2: Conclusion and Aamir KhanR17;s sports drama Dangal.
Starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty – who reprise their roles from KGF: Chapter 1 – KGF: Chapter 2’s cast includes Sanjay Dutt as antagonist Adheera, Raveena Tandon as Prime Minister Ramika Sen and Rao Ramesh as CBI officer Kanneganti Raghavan. Anant Nag, who was part of the first installment, refused to return for the sequel. Prashanth Neel wrote and directed KGF: Chapter 2, produced by Vijay Kiragandur under his Hombale Films banner.
