Kansas City police make over 20 arrests following overnight operation

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Local law enforcement agencies, including the Kansas Police Department Rapid Deployment Squad and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, worked overnight to make city streets safer.

Officers worked through the night in an aggressive operation, arresting a total of 25 felony and city misdemeanor suspects, including one suspected of bank robbery. They also arrested four injured drivers and recovered two stolen vehicles.

There is no further information on the suspect in custody.

This type of teamwork will continue in Kansas City, according to KCPD.
