Just Corseca Skywatch Pro Review: A Budget Offering That Covers the Basics

Affordable smartwatches have come a long way in recent years, from mere tech gadgets to essential everyday wearables. They now offer smarter features, better health tracking, and seamless connectivity. Indian brand Just Corseca recently launched its latest affordable offering in the country, the Skywatch Pro, which includes all the basic smartwatch features, along with Bluetooth calling, heart rate monitoring, step tracking, and more. After using the Just Corseca Skywatch Pro for nearly a month, here are my thoughts on this entry-level smartwatch.

Corseca Skywatch Pro price in India

The suggested retail price of Just Corseca Skywatch Pro is Rs. 3,999, but is currently priced at Rs. 1,399 on Amazon. It comes in black and bronze, and the review unit I received was black. This model is priced lower than similar products.

Just Corseca Skywatch Pro: Design and specs

The Just Corseca Skywatch Pro comes in the box with a charging cable, a user manual with a QR code, and can be used to download the companion app HryFine, which supports iOS and Android devices.

  • Display – 2.01-inch HD TFT display
  • Connectivity – Bluetooth 5.4
  • Companion App – Hryfine
  • Sensors: Heart rate monitor, step counter, activity tracker

Just Corseca Skywatch Pro features a 2.01-inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 240×296 pixels, which provides good visibility even under direct sunlight. The screen remains clear and easy to read during outdoor use. It has a physical button on the right side that allows you to wake the screen, return to the home screen, or browse apps. The smartwatch interface supports tap and swipe gestures for navigation and interaction.

This smartwatch comes with a pre-installed replaceable silicone strap that is waterproof. Its buckle design stands out among other wearables I’ve used, and it’s easy to remove like a bracelet or bracelet. The strap has multiple adjustment holes to ensure a comfortable fit for your hand. For charging, there’s a magnetic pogo pin charger in the box.

Just Corseca Skywatch Pro: Performance

Just Corseca Skywatch Pro can be used as a hands-free speaker. Once paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth, users can make and receive calls directly through the watch’s built-in microphone and speaker. Bluetooth calling worked reliably during testing, and callers could hear me clearly through the microphone. However, the volume of the speaker is a bit low, making it difficult to hear the other party clearly in a noisy environment. I ended up holding the watch closer to my ear to get better clarity when talking on the phone, which slightly detracted from the whole idea of hands-free use.

Just Corseca Skywatch Pro offers a standard set of health tracking features, including SpO2 monitoring, heart rate tracking, and sleep analysis. It also supports real-time motion tracking for activities such as walking, running, cycling, mountain climbing, treadmill workouts, basketball, badminton, and skipping.

While the range of exercise modes is good for the price, I found the pedometer’s accuracy to be a bit tenuous, occasionally undercounting or overcounting my steps. It’s fine for casual fitness tracking, but those looking for highly accurate data may find it lacking. Heart rate tracking on the Just Corseca Skywatch Pro is quite accurate, matching pulse oximeter readings very well in sedentary conditions. The SpO2 tracking is also pretty good for a budget smartwatch.

However, using cheap smartwatches to take SpO2 or heart rate readings is not recommended because the optical sensors on these devices are not medically reliable for such measurements. Sleep tracking is decent, but basic. The feature shows total sleep duration, including time awake, light sleep, and deep sleep, but doesn’t go into detail about other sleep stages and sleep quality. It’s useful for understanding your sleep patterns, but not much else.

Like all the latest wearables, the Just Corseca Skywatch Pro displays alerts from apps like WhatsApp, Outlook and Slack. While we couldn’t reply to notifications from the watch itself, they were useful for quick viewing, especially during driving, workouts, and busy workdays. I think the message alerts are a bit loud, you can turn that out from the settings.

Just Corseca Skywatch Pro’s user interface is fairly basic but covers all the basic features. Swipe down to display a list of apps, while swipe right to cycle through key health features like step tracking, sleep monitoring, heart rate, and SpO2. Swipe left to access calls, settings, and sport modes. Swiping up from the bottom will display unread WhatsApp notifications synced from your phone. I found the touchscreen response to be inconsistent at times. Some swipe gestures don’t register smoothly and require repeated attempts to access certain features.

Just Corseca hasn’t officially listed a waterproof rating for the Skywatch Pro, but in my use it handled light splashes during workouts and brief exposure to the rain with no issues. That said, it’s best to avoid using it during heavy rain and other water-consuming activities, as it hasn’t been proven to be completely waterproof.

Other features on the watch include music control options and a shutter app to remotely control the camera when your smartphone is away from you. It also includes a clone of the racing game that can be played on the smartwatch itself. Additionally, it provides Find My Phone and inactivity alerts right on your wrist. You can also set reminders to drink water.

According to the company, the Just Corseca Skywatch Pro has a battery life of up to 10 days with normal use and 15 days on standby. During my review, I found these claims to be very accurate. It can last for 7 days on a single charge, with frequent app notifications, continuous Bluetooth connection, regular fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, and occasional Bluetooth calls, which is suitable for this price range.

With conservative usage (no calls, regular use of WhatsApp notifications, basic step counting, and occasional heart and SPO2 monitoring), the battery lasts about 14 days. I think this battery life is pretty good for a budget smartwatch. It takes about 30 minutes to charge the battery from 0% to 100%, which is relatively fast.

Just Corseca Skywatch Pro Review Verdict

The Just Corseca Skywatch Pro enters the ultra-competitive budget wearable segment. It competes with brands like Noise, Boat, Boult Fire-Boltt and Fastrack, as well as other Chinese tech companies, all of which offer similar health tracking, notifications and Bluetooth calling features in their wearables. The Just Corseca Skywatch Pro doesn’t stand out with any innovative features, but it delivers the promised basics, including basic fitness tracking, call support, and notifications. It has good battery life and a good app experience.

Priced at Rs. 1,399, less than its original suggested retail price and on par with the competition in terms of value. If your needs are simple, basic health tracking, call handling and notification access, and you’re on a tight budget, the Just Corseca Skywatch Pro may be worth considering along with similarly priced alternatives. Just don’t expect great performance or advanced features.
