Being eliminated from the FA Cup by Chelsea was the only disappointment as they were second in the league, already in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and had a first-ever League Cup final awaiting them after the international break.

Jesse Parker’s success
While there have been many contributors to United’s success this season, it’s hard to argue that many of them were more important than Jesse Parker.
The attacking midfielder joined City on a swap deal before September’s deadline day, leaving Grace Clinton in the crosshairs.
Park has adapted perfectly to life in Manchester’s Red Team, scoring many world-class goals.
She played a total of 23 league and Champions League games for the Red Devils, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists.
Park was rewarded for her outstanding performance as she was named Player of the Month for three consecutive months (October, November and December).

Love life at Manchester United
Parker has often spoken of the platform United gave her to play her best football, something she reiterated to the BBC again.
She explained: “I’ve been enjoying my football since joining Manchester United. I think you can see it on the pitch, I’m expressing myself and I feel confident.”
Park believes the move has had a positive impact on her career, adding, “This change was what I needed to develop my football and that’s what has happened and everything is going in the right direction.”
Speaking about how this has translated into her England career, she explained, “For me it’s just about focusing on what’s next. I’m here [with England]I am ready to train and ready to play wherever I am needed. “

The 24-year-old made 22 appearances for the Lionesses, scoring three goals. She will be hoping to make a big impression when England take on Ukraine in their World Cup qualifier on Tuesday night.
