It’s been less than a month since Anthony Joshua defeated Jake Paul in a highly anticipated boxing match. But “problem children” appear to have begun spending millions on the fight. The Briton previously suffered a horrific accident in Lagos, Nigeria.
Anthony Joshua While traveling with several of his friends/group members, their car crashed into a stationary vehicle, killing both of Joshua’s friends. However, the sad news doesn’t seem to have had the slightest impact on “El Gallo” as he spent at least $40 million on new pastures.
Did Paul get money from the Anthony Joshua fight?
Half a day ago, the YouTuber-turned-boxer took to YouTube to introduce fans to his newly acquired ranch, called “Paul’s Reserve,” located in Decatur County, Georgia. In the video, he revealed that the “6,000-acre” property cost him “$40 million.” Considering the list of amenities he listed, the staggering price tag doesn’t seem entirely unrealistic.
according to Jake PaulThe ranch has “the largest all-terrain vehicle track in the world,” and there are plans to add a private airstrip for his jets. In addition to the $40 million purchase price, “El Gallo” claims the property also includes $5 million worth of vehicles, including a Lamborghini that he and his brother drove around in the driveway. Logan Paul.
Brother Paul drove the car to a top speed of 120 mph. Additionally, the property has four miles of waterfront along Lake Seminole. The beachfront access reportedly allows him to enjoy nearly every water sport imaginable, including wakeboarding and jet skiing.
While these are his assertions, some of the details may be a bit exaggerated. A June 2025 Robb Report article said Paul paid $39 million for the 5,700-acre property and the deal closed in April. Much of the funding appears to have come from his fight mike tyson November 2024, along with his personal savings.
“I’ve been wanting to buy a ranch for the past 15 years,” he told the Iced Coffee Time Podcast. “I wanted a place where I could wake surf, hunt and build tracks.” However, despite no money being made from the Anthony Joshua fight, the timing of the video’s release made many fans uncomfortable.
Fans shame Jake Paul for bad timing
People were quick to express outrage over the video. One user asked Paul to be polite. “Just after Anthony Joshua lost two people to a car crash you post something stupid like this bro. Have some decency. You’re his last remaining opponent,” the user commented. Paul may have uploaded the video now, but he purchased the property last year.
Another netizen mocked Paul for not having any dignity. “That lane is too long, Jack probably hasn’t found where his dignity stops after the Joshua fight…” the user commented. There’s not much dignity in fighting an old, no longer prime boxer or former MMA fighter in the first place.
Others couldn’t believe it. “After what Joshua just went through, bro,” the user asked. While the timing of the video may not have been great, Paul did share his prayers after Joshua’s crash.
The user, meanwhile, was not offended. “Anthony Joshua’s fight is getting to him,” the user commented. Both Joshua and Paul reportedly earned $93 million from the fight.
Others feared for Jake Paul’s life. “Didn’t he learn anything from Anthony Joshua’s accident?” the user asked. This refers to a specific part of Paul’s video where he is driving one of his sports cars and traveling at quite high speeds.
There is a time for everything—a time to celebrate and a time to mourn. Although some time has passed since Joshua’s crash, memories of the horrific event appear to be still fresh in people’s minds. Do you think Paul did something wrong?
