With Coventry City sitting top of the table, 10 points clear, we asked you if you’re confident the Sky Blues will win promotion to the Premier League.
We also asked what might be stopping Lampard’s side this season. Here are some of your responses:

Andrew: The Korver team is the best team in the league on and off the field, and it feels like a different season than any other. We learned from Lampard’s experience of winning. To be a Manchester City fan this season is to live a football dream.
Chris: January will be a big month for us. Injuries are starting to creep in and we really need to get ahead of the game and make signings in order to progress. If we’re still ahead by the New Year and the gap is at least 6-8 points, then I’ll start to believe it.
Andy: Although there are still many games to play, this team has a good relationship with the coach, the fans and each other. While the game of football is brilliant: positive and enjoyable, the progress off the field has also been remarkable: buying stadiums, investing in training pitches and matchday experiences. It really feels like this is going to be our year.
Stephen: Hopefully we can avoid too many injuries because we have a small squad. If we could I believe we would automatically be promoted.

Jerry: After seeing us through relegation, promotion, numerous near misses and managerial changes over the past 24 years, I feel very optimistic about our chances this season. I was skeptical about Frank Lampard taking over, but I’m happy to say I was completely wrong about him. What we have achieved so far has been amazing and I really hope we can finally get the promotion we deserve this season and finally regain our place in the Premier League.
Luke J: We desperately need reinforcements in January or Doug King will look foolish and once the injuries start to show up we will be lucky to make the playoffs as the team lacks depth.
Warren: They were really good and played the type of football we all love to see. What stopped them, however, were injuries. They don’t have the biggest roster available, so some serious injuries could severely hamper their season. Hope this doesn’t happen! I still think they can at least make the play-offs.
Marek: I believe Kove will eventually make it to the Premier League under Lampard. My biggest concern is the upcoming transfer window and the Premier League’s approach to our first team players leading to a split in the squad.
