He missed the game with a lower-body injury. Freeman missed all three of Syracuse’s losses in Vegas.
The Daily Orange reported on Monday that Freeman would be out on Tuesday.

In Las Vegas, head coach Adrian Autry said Freeman’s injury is not season-ending and he expects the forward to return soon.
The injury is reportedly unrelated to an injury Freeman suffered to his right foot as a freshman.
He averaged 17.8 points in four games before getting injured against Monmouth.
