The 9th generation Intel Core i9-9900KS Special Edition CPU was first unveiled during Computex 2019 and finally launched worldwide. It can run all its cores at 5 GHz with no additional adjustments. This processor is mainly for gamers and overclockers.
The Core i9-9900KS contains 8 cores and 16 threads with a base frequency of 4 GHz. A total of 16 MB of Intel Smart Cache and up to 40 PCIe channels. It is based on the existing Core i9-9900K processor, which has a single core capable of achieving a 5 GHz turbocharger frequency. However, the special edition can dial on all cores. In addition, the basic frequency of the i9-9900K is 3.6 GHz, which also caused a sensation.
The new Intel Performance Maximiser tool should make it easier to overclock the processor, rather than relying entirely on voltage changes and wants to overclock and run stably.
To meet the high-frequency requirements of all cores, the i9-9900KS has a higher thermal design power or a 127 W TDP. The i9-9900K has a TDP of 95 W, the difference is that the special edition will be launched. Extra load.
The i9-9900KS is a high-end packaged version of the i9-9900K that is difficult to implement. Therefore, Intel will not make too many special-edition processors. Between the two processors, you won’t find a big difference in performance or overclocking capabilities. Just a higher version offers more room to play. Games that use multiple cores will perform better on this CPU.

Intel said that the i9-9900KS will only be sold in limited quantities worldwide. This also means that a limited number of products will be manufactured and sold before limited inventory. It is priced at $513 (about 36,400 rupees), slightly higher than the i9-9900K issue price of $488 (currently on the Internet in India, it sells for about 47,000 to 50,000 rupees).
The i9-9900KS is not yet listed on any local online marketplace. We got in touch with some online and offline sellers who said they didn’t know the price and availability of Indian processors. Considering the sales of the i9-9900K in this range, we suspect that the price of the special edition CPU will be above 50,000 rupees. Pricing and availability are certain and we will update you.
