HyperX launched a new gaming headset called Cloud Stinger S in India on Tuesday, September 21. The new member of the HyperX gaming headset series is equipped with 50mm drivers and rotating ear cups. Cloud Stinger S is equipped with a noise-canceling microphone, which is said to provide clear sound. The earphones also have adjustable steel sliders. It is said that HyperX Cloud Stinger S uses HyperX’s NGENUITY software to provide a 7.1 virtual surround sound experience. The software also helps to customize other HyperX headsets, such as HyperX Cloud II Wireless, Cloud Alpha S and Cloud Stinger Core Wireless + 7.1.

HyperX Cloud Stinger S is priced at Rs. 5,990 in India. As of now, the device can only be purchased through the HP World store.

The HyperX Cloud Stinger S headset is lightweight, only 275 grams. They are equipped with 50mm drivers and are said to provide virtual 7.1 surround sound. The headset also has a “rotating mute” noise-reducing microphone. The ear pads are made of artificial leather and memory foam, and the adjustable slider is made of steel. As mentioned above, the headset comes with earmuffs that can be rotated up to 90 degrees, allowing gamers to wear the headset around their neck while resting. The headset also includes volume controls on the ear cups.

The frequency range of HyperX Cloud Stinger S is 18Hz-23,000Hz, and the impedance is 32 ohms. HyperX means that the headset is compatible with the PC. The headphone cord is 2.5 meters long and can be connected to 3.5 mm.

HyperX NGENUITY software can be used to customize the button assignments on the headset. Users can also use the software to set lighting and effects, create and store macros, adjust mouse DPI settings, and customize keyboard game modes.
