HP Omen 16 (2021) was launched in India on Tuesday and is the company’s latest Omen series of gaming laptops. The new model is equipped with a display up to 165Hz and uses the 11th generation Intel Core processor. HP Omen 16 (2021) is also equipped with an improved thermal management system, which brings an fan design. It is said that the size has been reduced by 2.5 times and the number of fan blades has been doubled to help provide better cooling. The Windows-based HP Omen 16 (2021) is equipped with a 16.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of up to QHD (2560×1440 pixels), an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a refresh rate of 165Hz. The display also has a 3ms response time and 100% sRGB color gamut. In addition, it has obtained Eyesafe display certification from TÜVRheinlan, Germany. The updated HP Omen 16 is equipped with the highest Intel Core i7-11800H processor, and the highest Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 notebook GPU, equipped with 8GB dedicated video memory and up to 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM. The laptop also has up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD storage, and its storage access speed is said to be twice that of a traditional SSD.

HP equipped Omen 16 (2021) with proprietary Omen Dynamic Power technology, which is said to help identify real-time and GPU capacity and uses infrared (IR) thermopile sensors to dynamically distribute power between the CPU and GPU. The laptop also has an improved internal design and airflow mechanism. Compared with the Omen 15, the blade is 2.5 times thinner and the number of blades has increased by more than 200%.

HP Omen 16 (2021) has a four-zone RGB anti-ghosting keyboard, integrated Omen Gaming Hub Light Studio, and can provide customized game settings themes. The laptop is equipped with an 83Whr battery, which can provide up to 9 hours of use on a single charge.
