Last week, Microsoft announced that its much-touted game streaming feature is now available to the public. This means you can transfer Xbox One games like Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Forza Horizon 2 to play on a PC or tablet running Windows 10. To do this, you’ll need a PC or tablet running Windows 10 with the latest version of the Xbox app installed, and of course an Xbox One. Streaming has its advantages, such as being able to pick up where you left off on your Xbox One, even if your TV is being used by friends or family.

To do this, you need to select the appropriate settings on your Xbox One and computer or tablet running Windows 10. First, open your Xbox One and make the following changes:
- On your Xbox One, go to set upchoose Preferences.
- choose Allow game streaming to other devices.
Now you need to set it up on your Windows 10 PC or tablet:
- In the Xbox app on Windows 10, select connectchoose Add device Select your Xbox One console from the menu on the left side of the app.
- Connect a wired Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller to your Windows 10 computer or tablet.
- Then, go to Home. choose Played recently Choose an Xbox One game.
- choose Play from console Start streaming to your computer.
If you want to take full control of your Xbox One from your PC, you can choose game streaming In the Home section of the Xbox One app. You’ll need the latest version of the Xbox app installed on your Windows 10 computer or tablet to stream games. A notification will appear on your Xbox One stating that a specific user started a game streaming session. This means you can’t stream games to both PC and console at the same time. During a game stream, the Xbox One console will display “In Use” as if the streamer was in the room. That’s everything you need to know about streaming Xbox One games to Windows 10.
