In early February, the NFL won a petition to bar the public release of the NFL Players Association’s 2026 transcripts, but like everything else in society, those transcripts were leaked to the media, and ESPN released the information on Thursday.
The report card is essentially a snapshot of what the players think of the team, covering everything from the food to the court. Unfortunately, the Titans have slipped a bit from last season, scoring lower in terms of ownership, the locker room, and the playing field at Nissan Stadium.
Here’s a snapshot of the best and worst rated areas:

This survey confirms what everyone is seeing on the field: Special teams coordinator John “Bones” Fassel is one of the best coaches in the league, and his A+ grade reflects that. The Titans’ special teams unit went from an extreme liability to a weapon in his first season in Nashville, and with the influx of talent, the unit can improve even more.
General manager Mike Borgonzi also received high marks in his first season with the organization, being graded a B+. Borgonzi was a solid first-round pick and appears to have a plan to rebuild the Titans’ culture and performance.
Family treatment and staff training both tied Borgonzi with B-Plus scores.

Worst rated areas
As the report shows, Nissan Stadium’s playing surface received the worst grade, an F-. This is a new category on the report card, which should come as no surprise as multiple players have complained about the surface throughout the season, with many mentioning the artificial turf.
In categories where there was no change on the report card, the Titans’ locker room declined from the last survey, falling from a C- to a D-plus. While this doesn’t rank as the worst locker room in the NFL, it is losing favor with players.
The final area of decline is ownership, which dropped from Class B last season to Class C this year. But just like the locker room, they’re not at the bottom of the league.
