Ahead of Rayo Vallecano’s match at Camp Nou on Spotify, Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has spoken of concerns over his players’ workload, especially after a tough midweek Champions League game.
Flick made it clear that fatigue was not an issue for his team.

He said he wasn’t concerned about players’ minutes heading into this game, adding that everyone in the starting lineup and roster was “ready to play.”
To further reinforce his point, Flick emphasized the scheduling advantage his team has going into this game.
While Barcelona played earlier in the week, their opponents had a shorter recovery period.
Explaining the situation, he added that during the game against Rayo Vallecano, Barcelona “Another day of rest” compared to their opponents.

Despite Barcelona’s impressive home record since returning to Camp Nou, Flick was quick to play down any stories about statistics or past performances.

Making his priorities clear, he said, “The only thing that matters to me is the next game, which is against Leo,” and continued, “I don’t care if I win my home game.

Flick also took a moment to highlight the development of one of Barcelona’s rising talents.
When asked about Mark Bernal, the coach expressed his satisfaction with the youngster’s progress, saying: “We are very pleased with his progress“.

He explained that simply defending Barcelona is not enough. He expanded on this idea by emphasizing the importance of balance, adding,
“We had some great games against Barcelona and although everyone says you have to defend against them, if you defend the whole game and don’t attack then you’re going to have problems.
“That’s why I want my team to be inspired offensively,” he said.
