Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online (commonly known as GTA V or GTA 5 and GTA Online) will release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles on March 15. Remastered versions of these two games will not be free upgrades for owners of older generation consoles. Pricing for GTA 5 and GTA Online has been announced online ahead of the release date. Gamers can take advantage of discounted prices on both games when they pre-order the game. Rockstar also announced that GTA 5 is now available pre-installed on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles.
GTA 5, GTA Online PS5 prices in India
The GTA 5 PS5 version is priced at Rs. 2,799 ($39.99/£34.99/AU$59.95), including Story Mode and GTA Online. The game will be available at an introductory price of Rs. $700 ($9.99 / £8.75 / AU$14.99) on PlayStation Store – 75% off – until June 14, verified by TechnologyShout on PS5’s PlayStation Store. Meanwhile, as previously announced by Rockstar Games, GTA Online is currently free to preload through the PlayStation Store until June 14. The price will then be Rs. 1,399 ($19.99/£17.99/AU$30.95). Gamers will be able to find GTA 5 listings on the PlayStation Store for PS5.

Meanwhile, GTA 5 for Xbox Series S/X is priced at Rs. $2,799 ($39.99/£34.99/AU$59.95), currently listed at a discounted price of Rs. $1,399 ($19.99/£17.49/AU$29.97) until June 14th. Meanwhile, GTA Online is currently priced at Rs. 700 ($9.99/£8.99/AU$15.47), verifiable by TechnologyShout. Gamers can find listings for GTA 5 on the Xbox Store, while GTA Online will be available on current-generation consoles through the Xbox Store.
GTA 5, GTA Online Preload on PS5, Xbox Series S/X Now Available
Rockstar announced Tuesday that preloads for GTA 5 and GTA Online are now available to PlayStation and Xbox Series S/X console owners. The new version of GTA 5 and GTA Online will support resolutions up to 4K with frame rates up to 60fps. Gamers will also be able to take advantage of current-generation hardware improvements, including faster load times, HDR options, improved texture quality, ray tracing, and 3D audio on the latest consoles.
According to a post on Sony’s PlayStation Blog, players can also transfer their Story Mode progress from their PS4 and Xbox One consoles by uploading the save to the Rockstar Games Social Club, while GTA will be supported starting March 15th Online Characters. PS5 gamers who migrate their saves will also receive a tweaked Karin S95 sports car, a new set of Chameleon paint, and Hao’s Special Work Racing gear from Hao’s Special Works, according to Rockstar.
