Google has launched a new offer for Indian college students, allowing them to subscribe to AI Pro membership for free. The scheme usually costs Rs. 1,950 per month, but a one-year subscription is free. Through Google AI Pro, subscribers can access Gemini 2.5 Pro AI models, as well as in-depth research on Gemini 2.5 Pro. In addition, they can use the latest video generation platform Veo 3, get higher limits in NotebookLM, and get 2TB of storage space in Google applications.

Google AI Pro plan in India is priced at Rs. 1,950 per month. However, eligible college students can subscribe for free for one year, saving a total of Rs 10. 19,500.

On the Flow and Whisk platforms, Google offers 1,000 AI credits per month for completing various text, image, and video generation queries. Additionally, subscribers can create “five times” more audio overviews, notebooks, and more in NotebookLM. Gemini also integrates directly into Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Finally, you get 2TB of cloud storage in Google apps like Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos.

To get Google AI Pro plan for free in India, college students need:
- Navigate to the Google One website and log in with your personal Google account
- Verify your student status with SheerID. You can choose between official email-based or ID-based verification methods
- Google will then verify the ID and show you whether you are eligible for the offer
- If eligible, add a payment method. Options include UPI, credit and debit cards
- Complete the trial purchase process and enjoy new features under the Google AI Pro plan.
