According to reports, Google One has added a new storage plan to bridge the gap between existing storage options. The new 5TB storage plan is between the current 2TB storage and 10TB storage plans. The price of the former is US$9.99 per month (650 rupees per month in India), and the price of the latter is US$49.99 per month ( Rs 3,682). The new plan was launched after Google Photos stopped unlimited storage space earlier this year. Google now provides up to 15GB of free storage space, which is distributed in Gmail, Drive, photos, documents, tables and other products.

According to 9to5Google reports, the new 5TB storage plan has been silently launched for Google One users. The price of the new 5TB storage plan is US$24.99 ( Rs 1,840) per month. Alternatively, users can purchase a storage plan for US$249.99 (approximately Rs 18,414) per year, with an effective of 17%. As mentioned earlier, the new plan was reportedly introduced to bridge the gap between Google’s 2TB and 10TB storage plans.

According to reports, the new 5TB plan has the same benefits as Google One’s 2TB storage plan. According to screenshots shared by the publication, these include access to a Google expert, the option to add a family, additional membership benefits, a 10% rebate for purchases in the Google store, and a VPN for Android smartphones. I don’t know when this option was added, but it seems to be a fairly new plan. It is unclear which regions will accept the new storage plan.

Users who wish to upgrade to the new 5TB storage plan can go to the Google One storage webpage for more details.

Indian users can choose the free 15GB storage option or upgrade to a paid plan. The paid plan a basic 100GB storage plan that can be used for Rs. 130 or rupees per month. 1,300 per year. Then comes the standard 200GB storage plan of Rs. 210 or rupees per month. 2,100 per year. Finally, there is a premium 2TB storage plan priced at Rs. 650 or rupees per month. 6,500 per month. All three plans have access to Google experts, with the option to add family and additional membership benefits.
