Gamescom Opening Night Live What to Expect: Black Ops 7, Ghost of Yotei, Silent Hill f and More

Gamescom Opening Night Live kicks off one of the world’s largest gaming trade shows of the year on August 19 in Cologne, Germany. The event will run from August 20 to August 24, with Opening Night Live taking place on Tuesday and featuring new announcements and trailers for the upcoming game. Gamescom’s opening night live broadcast will be hosted by Geoff Keighley, who has confirmed that the live stream will feature announcements for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Resident Evil Requiem, Rampart, Silent Hill, and more.

The Gamescom opening show will be broadcast live on Tuesday, August 19 at 8pm CEST (11:30pm IST). The live content includes new game announcements, trailers and gameplay demonstrations, sneak previews of other Gamescom events, and more. Here are the highlights from Gamescom’s opening night:

Keighley shared a trailer on Sunday confirming some of the games that will be featured at Opening Night Live. Major upcoming games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Resident Evil Requiem, Rampart, Silent Hill F, The Outer Worlds 2, Ninja Gaiden 4 and World of Warcraft: Midnight will all receive updates at the show.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was unveiled at the Xbox Games Showcase in June and will be shown to the world at Gamescom opening night live on Tuesday. Activision may announce the game’s release date and share Black Ops 7 gameplay during the show. Last week it was revealed that the next Call of Duty game will launch on November 14, just a month after the release of EA’s rival military shooter Battlefield 6.

In addition to updates on the most important releases of the upcoming holiday season, the Gamescom opening show will feature news about Fallout Season 2 and a musical performance from the composer of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

In addition, Game Science, the developer of “Black Myth: Wukong”, has confirmed that it will participate in the opening night of Gamescom. While the Chinese studio hasn’t revealed any details yet, it may announce DLC for the popular action role-playing game.

Lords of the Fallen developer CI Games also confirmed that the game’s sequel, Lords of the Fallen 2, will be released during the Gamescom opening night live broadcast.
