GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Bostic Sugg Furniture in Greenville is closing its doors after 89 years in business.
Bostic Sugg Furniture Company was founded in 1937 by Barry Bostic and Marvin Sugg in downtown Greenville.
The store at 2115 E. Fire Tower Road is closing. In order to prepare for store closing, the store will be temporarily closed while making final preparations for large-scale store closing and liquidation activities.
Liquidation will officially begin at 10 a.m. on March 26, giving customers one last chance to shop at the Greenville showroom.
During the event, a large selection of furniture and mattresses will be available at significantly reduced prices, as all remaining showroom stock must be sold as part of the closing process. Liquidation will continue until showroom and warehouse inventories are completely cleared of merchandise.
Shoppers attending the clearance event can purchase a variety of items, including living room furniture, bedroom furniture, dining room furniture, mattresses and other home furnishings.
