Saturday’s deadlock against Burnley took a while to break, but once it did the game exploded and ended 3-1. Brentford currently has an excellent record of 5 wins and 1 draw in 7 home games, with 16 points, which only Manchester City can match.

Dango Ouattara (£6m) earned Brentford another penalty – the Bees’ seventh in the league this season. Then the score is Igor Thiago (£6.7m).
The Bees’ second goal came from Jordan Henderson’s (£5m) cross, Thiago scored, the Brazilian’s fifth goal in three games. His 11 goals trail only the other team’s 14 Erling Haaland (£14.9 million). Impressively, no one else in the game has scored more than seven.

Although Thiago’s second goal was not credited to Henderson’s assist, Ouattara’s stoppage-time goal saw Henderson rewarded. The midfielder also picked up a DefCon point in his 13th game.
Only a handful of Premier League players created more big chances between Weeks 6 and 13 than Henderson (5). one of them, Sean Longstaff (£4.9m), injured next month.
Henderson has three assists and has started 12 consecutive league games, which will come in handy with the upcoming period of congested schedules.

Gameweek 13 is by far the most popular period for FPL chip activations. Last weekend, nearly 2,000,000 managers played with chips, the majority using Free Hit or Triple Captain chips.

Haaland is usually the default choice, but he has been vacant in succession and is heading to a Fulham side that has already recorded back-to-back wins.
Those who feel confident looking elsewhere may choose Bruno Fernandez (£8.9m) or Brian Mbemo (£8.6 million) at home against West Ham United.
Liverpool host Sunderland looks trickier than initially expected, but Mohamed Salah Already rested. Being a captain can be fruitful.
