The Arizona Cardinals announced this week that running back James Conner will be their draft pick on the second day of next week’s NFL draft. The NFL has had team legends announcing Day 2 draft picks for years.
All legends from the 32 teams that announced the draft were announced. There was another Cardinals game the next day.

Former Cardinals player Phil Dawson will announce Day Two’s draft picks for the Cleveland Browns.
Dawson played in the NFL from 1999 to 2018, most of those seasons with the Browns. He was their main player from 1999 to 2012. However, he ended his career with the Cardinals, playing for them for two seasons in 2017-2018.
He was 37-for-48 on field goals and 38-for-41 on extra points in two seasons.
