FAU-G is getting a new map called Dugong Rock Island, trailer released

FAU-G will receive a new map called Dugong Rock Island. Developer nCore Games released a trailer for this upcoming map. It appears to be an abandoned naval base. Some buildings can provide players with a higher vantage point. This new map shows that there is also an underground area. The developer has not revealed the exact release date of this update. However, it is expected to be available to players on Android and iOS devices soon.

The game was originally released in January 2021 with only a single-player campaign at launch. The developers have since added multiplayer modes to the game, such as team deathmatch and melee.

FAU-G review

This free game has been downloaded over 5 million times on Google Play since its release. However, the average user rating for FAU-G is only 2.2 stars. It should be noted that due to the hype surrounding the game, FAU-G hit the 5 million download mark at launch. The fact that it’s still at 5 million downloads suggests that the game has stagnated. A new map will hopefully bring some players back into the game.

nCore Games seems to have an uphill battle to get the game back on track. The mobile shooter space is currently dominated by some very popular titles such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Battlegrounds Mobile India, etc. EA has also decided to enter the fray with its recently launched Apex Legends Mobile, which currently has a 4-star rating on Google Play and has surpassed 10 million downloads in less than a month of launch.
