This paid DLC is called “The Forsaken Hollows” and will be released on December 5th on PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms. Forgotten Valley will add new playable characters, boss fights, and other content to the base game.
FromSoftware announced Forgotten Valley at the State of Play Japan show on Tuesday, showing off a trailer for the DLC that showcases the new threat the Nightcrawlers face.
Forgotten Valley details
Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows will bring two new playable characters, two new expedition boss objectives, and a new Moving Earth event. Two new Nightcrawlers include the Scholar and the Undertaker, who also have new companions.
According to FromSoftware, the Scholar character is a scholar who walks the world and possesses “impressive” levels of mysticism. Nightcrawlers gain advantage on the battlefield through observation. The Undertaker, on the other hand, is an abbess tasked with killing the Night Lord. The character uses powers of strength and faith to send enemies into the afterlife.
Players will encounter two new bosses in the DLC in the Limveld on the third night of the run. And the new Moving Earth event will see a void deep in the depths of Rimveld, where players will find ruins and temples, sacred towers, and crystals that exude life-sucking miasma.
Players can purchase the Elden Ring Nightreign Deluxe Upgrade Pack separately to gain access to The Forsaken Hollows when it launches on December 4. Pre-ordering the DLC will also provide players with an “Elden Ring Nightreign” digital art book and mini soundtrack.
In India, Forgotten Valley can be purchased for Rs. 700 on PC (via Steam), PlayStation and Xbox storefronts.
Elden Ring Nightreign releases on May 30 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. This cooperative survival action game requires teams of up to three to work together online to survive three days and nights in a hostile world. “Nightreign” sold 2.5 million copies on its launch day and shipped more than 5 million copies by July.
